I am here to help you achieve your goals, while providing you with a safe and affirmative environment to self- explore. My approach to practicing therapy is best described as multi-modal, meaning I draw from a few different schools of thought. You may wonder “how does therapy work?” While there is no one answer, I like to be transparent with clients on what to expect. After our first meeting, you should walk away with a clear idea of how your treatment will move you forward, even if this is adaptable to change.

I received my M.S. from Dominican University of California in 2019, where I was trained in both classic and emerging theoretical orientations. Since then, I have landed in mindfulness and somatic based practices as a core focus. Mindfulness can have a mixed association because of usage in wellness culture. My aim is to demystify some of these associations, while creating the safety and affirmation for each client to explore their own mind/body experience to the fullest. Mostly recently I have been training in Collaborative Therapy with my current supervisor and practice founder Dr. Adriana Gil-Wilkerson, Phd, LMFT-S. I also come from an activist background, and will integrate aspects of culturally aware Liberation Psychotherapy into my work with clients. 

I am a San Francisco Bay Area transplant in the process of learning all that I can about the Greater Houston Area. I have a strong commitment to upholding diversity in my work, with an emphasis on social justice and racial justice-alliance building. I specialize in working with the LGBTQQIA+ community, including couples, and am taking clients of all ages. When I am not working with clients, I am exploring nature, gardening, spending time with my family, and playing with my cat!
